thanks to everyone for the information,it has helped a great deal.i was upset ,because i told they were ameraucanas when i bought them,now i find out that they are not,dosent matter i love them anyway.

You do have some nice birds. I had the same thing happen when I first got into Ameraucana\'s. I actually had EE\'s and I remember I was so upset. So I understand. I love EE\'s though and still use them for layers  ;)

Definitely do enjoy your birds! I\'m having a lot of fun with mine. If you do enjoy the breed enough that you become interested in standard-bred stock, showing, and/or breeding, it seems that you are fairly close to many experienced folks who can help you out & get you started with some stock.

Up here where I am, there are very few sources for standard-bred stock and most of us have got our start from hatcheries.
You gotta start somewhere! Enjoy what you have and see where your interests take you! I enjoyed your photos.
