When you cross breed an Ameraucana rooster to any other breed will that new cross hen always lay colored eggs???  Is there some breeds that it works to cross breed and others it won\'t?

Depends if the Ameraucana rooster carries two copies of the blue egg gene.   Not sure what you are asking in the second part of your question.   Why would you want to create more mutts when the hatcheries already sell them by the boatload?
