Four Corners Poultry Assn. Show

Are any members planning on exhibiting at this show?  It is located in Farmington, NM.  Judges are Gary Overton, Ben Burkett and Terry Reeder.  Entry deadline is Oct. 23, 2010

Darn, guess I\'ll go it alone.  This will be my first show.  I\'m told it usually has about 1300 entries.  Does anyone have any advice so I don\'t look too foolish.  I\'m entering three pullets. A black, a blue, and a self-blue (lav).

My best advice is to make sure your birds are clean and parasite free.  If they aren\'t, everyone will notice and think less of you.  Poultry exhibitors come from all walks of life and you will make many friends over time.  Be friendly and open to conversation.  Good Luck!

Thanks!  I really am looking forward to meeting some knowledgable people.  I was hoping for other ABC members though.
