Tom Kernan won Champion LF with a Black Ameraucana at Lucasville, OH this weekend.  Don\'t have any other information yet but I think that is great news!

Does anyone know where Kernan got his Ameraucana stock?
Isn\'t this the guy from New Jersey who always wins with Black Sumatras?

Yes, he is from New Jersey and he is known for his Black Sumatras and his Brown Africans.  He won Champion of Show at the last Crossroads of America Show with an African.  I have no idea where he got his winning Ameraucana (its a pullet or a hen) but I have been told that he will probably not be at KY due to distance and the one day show.  I hear that he usually comes to Columbus for the Ohio National in Nov. and I plan to look him up and talk Ameraucana.
