Getting permission for a meet?
« on: March 21, 2011, 10:44:20 AM »
We have 2 shows up here in Central, NY. One is always the 1st Sunday in June, and the other is usually around the 3rd week in October.

I\'m usually the only person who enters Ameraucanas, but I\"m working on getting more to show.

How do I go about getting an official meet? I think this year in June, I will have more than 3 people to show.
I also have a yahoo group that is for the NE USA  general poultry members, and would like to be able to announce a meet on that group so more might show up that wouldn\'t know about it.

Meets that have already been places are here:

http://ameraucana.org/ABC%20Meets.html

And the meet policy is highlighted on that page so you can just click and it will download.

Basically it has to be requested with enough time to put it in the next bulletin so members have a chance to know about it.

Sue:

You send your meet request to NE District Director Harold Knapp.

You can find a meet request form at http://www.ameraucana.org/download.html to put the show information on.

Michael,

I downloaded the two meet request forms- word and PDF just to look at them.  You have two different addresses for your mailing address.  IL address at the top of the page and MO at the bottom of the page.  Typo?
