John, I see you have your surplus chicks on craigslist as usual during hatching season. I was simply curious to know what was in this weeks 'batch', or rather which varieties you hatched the most of this week. I just wish I was closer than a 4.5 round trip drive from you. Simply too tied down at home with hubby's care to go that far and indulge my chicken math.

Please keep us posted in how your hatches go and we'd love to see chick pictures....while we impatiently wait to see if the clipboard lotto hits us......

I sent an email to you yesterday to let you know your chicks are in the mail.
A lady that bought the excess chicks a couple weeks ago called at 8 this morning saying she'll be by this afternoon to get the 45 from this week.  Many were from my Chanteclers and some were surplus silver bantams...just too many of them.

I have 4 buffs and 21 'black' chicks in the brooder and I'm trying to figure out who is what among those 21!

AWESOME!! They came in at 3:15 pm today/weds.
