Coccivac-D2 vaccine has anyone tried it?

I have the vaccine and want to try it now with the small hatches we do in the fall.
Has anyone tried it? how do you calculate the formula for 25 chicks to spray on their feed.

Feed Spray for 4 day old chicks
dilute the vaccine at a ratio of 1000 doses/400 ml of non-chlorinated water. Mix well and place in a clean garden type sprayer

vaccine bottle doesn't say how much is in it.

Is it a wafer or soluble vaccine?

Well, if you can find out how much vaccine is in the vial, I would divide everything by 4 to split it up.  Make sure and use a sterile needle to remove vaccine from vial and refrigerate after use.

I am not a vet, so this is just a suggestion on my part.

I did it! That was a lot of mixed vaccine for a small amount of chicks. I used a cosmetic spray bottle and put 25 ml of distilled water and 3/4 ml of vaccine. Sprayed 1 cup of feed with about 6 pumps of spray. I got worried that they might eat too much of it so I removed the left over feed after 15 minutes.

Jean you made it sound simple thank you

I got the tape measure out and divide the contents of the vile into 1/4 marking the bottle. There was 5/8" of vaccine
