Paul, that is a different address than I had too, so I corrected it in my address book.   Did you remember to post a notice when it changed?   If so, I missed it.

Paul:
Hi Mike, 

  We have had this e-mail address for over two years.  I thought we had everything changed.

Paul:
Earlier we were turning day old chick orders away in concern of being able to fill all that we had received.  We can now accept more for our black, blue, splash and lavender Ameraucanas for our last two hatches of 2014.  The wheaten, blue wheaten, splash wheaten and SC Rhode Island Reds are fully booked and we cannot accept anymore orders for them for 2014.  The lavenders were having hatching issues earlier, but hatched well in our April 28 hatch.

  The lavender males were not ready early in the breeding season.  A cock goes temporarily sterile while he is in molt.  Once molt is complete he is highly fertile and ready for breeding.  This information came from several Cornish breeders who bred their birds by AI.

  We may add an additional hatch for June 9.  It will depend on how well our May 12 hatch does for the wheatens.

  We have decided to hatch one more incubator on June 9.  We feel confident that all present chick orders will be filled in our May 12, and May 27 hatch.  We now can supply more wheaten/blue wheaten/splash wheaten chicks, black, blue, splash and lavender from our June 9 hatch with the possibility of earlier hatch dates of some varieties.  E-mail (psmith@ntin.net) or call Paul Smith 940-768-8405 for order info.

Paul:
We can still supply about 20 to 40 blacks from our May 27 hatch.

Our June 9 hatch (last hatch of 2014) can supply black, blue and splash chicks.

The three wheaten varieties and the lavender are booked up.

We will accept orders for them for 2015.
