19 large fowl shown by 7 exhibitors, judged by Larry Urban

A total of 39 birds were shown; 19 large fowl and 20 bantams. 

All five LF wheatens shown were DQ'd by the judge for foreign color because they were young cockerels that had not fully matured and beard color was off......  :o

The splash hen shown by Karen Carpenter was probably the best bird of the show.  It was very nice!  There was no separate junior show.

How about a photo of that winning blue cock bird Connie Jean?  Also, would you care to elaborate on how a "not chocolate" bird won BV chocolate?

It was the same blue cock I showed at the Nationals.  I will try to post a photo tomorrow.

The bird that was labeled chocolate was some unknown color.  Looked maybe like a bad blue.
