Results from the Idaho State Meet

We had 3 bantam exhibitors and 1 standard size exhibitor at the State Ameraucana Meet in Filer, Idaho last weekend. 18 Ameraucanas were shown – 2 blue wheaten, 12 wheaten, and 3 white, all bantams, and 1 black standard. Jeannette Frank judged the show.

Here’s a picture of Koralyn Kibbee, our Western Director from Montana, with her white cock (Reserve Ameraucana overall) and Susie Winder in the 2nd pic.  As you may recall, Koralyn had some surgery earlier this spring and had a hard time getting out of the hospital. But she is recovering very well and LOOKED GREAT!  She even bought some more birds at the show and everyone was commenting that “That’s a good sign” that she’s feeling better.

Best Ameraucana and Best AOCCL, from a class of 28, was won by a wheaten cock owned by Yours Truly.  Koralyn was kind enough to share some of her flock with me and he is one of the chicks that I bred up last spring.

For further show results and pictures, go to http://www.frontiernet.net/~susiewinder .  There\'s also a picture of another member of this forum, Phil Urrutia, who had Reserve Ch. AOSB at the 2005 Snake River Poultry Assoc. Spring Show.

Wow! You even got Koralyn in her ABC T-shirt.  Thanks for the report.  The photos on your site are very nice of both the exhibitors and the birds.  It\'s neat to put faces with the names.
