Wanting to Buy LF Wheaten chicks
« on: June 26, 2014, 09:35:38 AM »
It seems that I have waited too long to buy chicks this season, but if you have any please let me know. Older birds would be considered in a reasonable driving distance. I live in North Alabama.

Are you planning on making Lucasville? There may be some there. If you aren't, maybe you could coordinate with someone else who's going who could get them within driving distance to you.

Art,  Good luck contacting those folks closer to you that we discussed.  Keep me posted if you don't find any wheatens before fall.  And I hope those blues and blacks continue to grow out well.  You will have to keep the males separated out if you want the beards to grow out full.  They do love to pick the beards clean.
