I think you mean "Three blue wheaten hens" in the first line and "splash wheaten hens" in the 2nd.

Paul, as you know, you couldn't get wheaten hens out of a splash wheaten cock, so I assume you meant a blue wheaten cock. So you must have meant the #4 breeding pen was a Blehm wheaten male over three blue wheaten females you raised? So the three blue wheaten females now look like splash wheaten?

Sorry there was a typo it is suppose to be blue wheaten.

I guess you will have to test mate those three females with a blue wheaten male to see if they are splash or blue wheaten. If you get any wheatens from that cross, you will know they are truly blue wheaten in spite of their current appearance.
