I'm only hatching 20 or so at a time, so it's not too many to keep in the bedroom for the first few days. Besides, what woman doesn't love holding fluffy chicks?
Most blues were very dark. All of that first batch was sold, but the next ones hatching are marked which rooster the eggs came from, and will be separated and toe punched at hatch
