I've been reading through some of the old ABC bulletins from the late '80s and early 90's for a project the Board is contemplating. What an education that has been!

Makes me wish I had been around to meet some of these great founders of this breed: Jeanne Trent, Jeannette Frank, and, especially, Don Cable.  Reading his articles is getting a shot of education, served with a healthy dose of humor. Jeanne Trent and Jeannette Frank I think must have single-handedly kept the club communication going with their constant stream of newsletters, updates, and letters to the members and to each other.

What a legacy these folks have left us!

To all the Founders of this great breed - I salute you.
