McMurray\'s Ameraucana Bantams

Do any of you know where Murray McMurray gets their bantam Ameraucana chicks from? The reason I ask is that I\'ve seen quite a few of them in this area this year and some, well, heck, most I\'ve seen are very nice, decent birds. Most are BW (that I\'ve seen) and every one of them could be shown. I don\'t mean that they are all champions, but I did not see any disqualifying factors.

Just a guess.   Wayne Meredith, longtime Ameraucana Club member, used to sell eggs to McMurrays through Harry Halbach.   Wayne no longer raises Ameraucana bantams, but McMurray\'s could have started their own flock from them.  Wayne got his start in wheaten and blue-wheaten bantams from me back in about 1979 or 1980.   You may want to e-mail Murray McMurray and pose the question directly to them.

Thank you, Mike, for taking the time to answer that. I did ask MM a few years ago, but did not receive an answer from them. I will try again as now they may be more receptive to questions about Ameraucanas.
