South Eastern District Fall meets
« on: February 21, 2017, 03:32:22 PM »
It is a good time to think about where more folks want to gather for the fall meets and get these listed on the website and in the next bulletins.    Please let me know which shows are on your schedules and if you think these might be well attended by those exhibiting Ameraucana LF and Bantams.   Thanks!     Don

If you get one over on this side of Mississippi, maybe we could come over and see y'all.

Be Blessed,
Ernie

Ha!  That'd be great Ernie.  But the last redistricting for the States left the SE Disrict pretty narrow.  We make it to the ECD, Eastern Continental Divide, but not much further west.  If you can talk the club into giving us some states back, say something like Tenn/Alabama/Miss, we might be able to get close to the Great River.  But not on your side.

OH WAIT!  Speak of the Devil.  I just looked the Website District map of "North America".  It appears that someone gave us those states but took away the Virginias.  I did not know we were in talks with this kind of land trade?  Maybe something that the EO has done while no one was watching?

But until someone tells me different, I'll plan on just placing meets in VA/WV/NC/SC/GA/FL

Don, you sure you aren't playing Monopoly, but just trading states instead of property? Who has Park Place and who has Board Walk?

Gordon,  I heard a bit on PBS last week that they were reworking the Monopoly Board.  Maybe this has something to do with that.  I think they are going to keep the "Go To Jail" square.  We will see.....

Ok, Susan has worked on the map to show the most current Districts for the Club in North America.
Think about the fall shows and see where the best place for meets will be for your area.   You can take a look at the shows in surrounding states on Show Central to check about any concurrent weekends too.

The National is MN state show  Oct. 28-29, 2017, Hutchinson, MN
And the OE Jamboree is Nov 4th, so probably a bad show date for all things Old English

Big Oops!  My bad, folks.  When I was updating the website for the 2017 BOD, documents, etc - I accidentally uploaded a district map that had been proposed, but not approved by the Board, instead of the new NA Continent map, with the districts as they are.

I'll take 20 lashes with a wet feather, please...Ameraucana feather, of course.
