NPIP Certification
« on: May 17, 2019, 08:11:38 PM »
We are in Texas.  It is my understanding that in order to show in some states we need the NPIP certification.  We are interested in going to some Oklahoma shows.  Information on the "how-to" of this is sketchy on the internet.  Since it's run by the government it's always difficult right?  But thought I'd ask here for some pro tips.  Best I can tell is I apply through an Oklahoma form, and through that get my cert which is good Nationally?  Thanks for your help.

I believe most States say NPIP or it's equivalent.  I think TPIP is the equivalent.

It is best to check with the show or the State to make sure your testing is acceptable.

The TVMDL has all the information you need for NPIP certification in Texas. J.C. Essler is the program coordinator there.

Thanks for your help.  Got it done.  Look forward to getting to some out of Texas shows.
