Self Blue Qualifying Meet
Lindsay Helton:
The final qualifying meet for the Self Blue color variety will be held at the Ohio National poultry show on November 9-10th in Columbus, Ohio.
The show catalog should be released in September and will be available for download at www.ohionational.org.
In order to participate in the final qualifying meet, an exhibitor must be a member of the APA.
We must have a minimum of 5 APA members showing a total of 25 self blue, with a minimum of 5 in each class (C, H, K, P). Also, the birds must be entered in the correct official name of self blue.

Pat Dukes will be able to bring a pullet, hen and cockerel. She also has an additional pullet and cockbird available if we are low on numbers. Thank you Pat!

I expect people are distracted by the end of summer and the holiday. I know that Paul has plans to go and not sure about others out in the midwest and texas areas. You might drop them an email and get some updates to share?
Lindsay Helton:
Barbara Dodington has offered to try to bring a cockbird.
Paul is cage training a cockerel and pullet, and has an additional pullet that could be caged. His cockbirds and hens are currently in molt but he hopes to be able to bring two in each category if it works out.

David Phillips has offered to bring a bird or two if we are low on numbers.
