I'm glad you enjoyed it! Congratulations on receiving the Lifetime Achievement award. It was well-deserved. You are always positive, encouraging, and are a great team player. Thanks for all that you do for the ABC. We are lucky to have you as a board member.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! We missed having you there. See you in Fayetteville!

I hope you're brining some of those fine wheaten/bw of yours.
Any chance you bring a male?

Lindsay Helton:
Lol. The pullets are several weeks into laying and aren’t looking as robust as they do at POL. I will have to remember that when I hatch next season and plan accordingly. A pullet really does seem to look her best right at POL.

I think I may enter a wheaten and blue wheaten cockerel. I need to work on the hackle striping, but they look okay otherwise. My focus will finally get to be the hackles next season. I worked on combs this season. Speaking of which, I came across an article on Columbian and its effect on chickdown. I’m going to mark the chicks for fun this next season and check them at maturity to see if I notice a difference (Columbian is considered by some to possibly affect the hackle striping).

Lindsay Helton:
Also, if you want to, send me some pics of what you have available to work with in the cockerel department. If one of the males I don’t plan to use would help you I can try to bring it if I have room. Or, it may be that what you have is better! I have culled down to 8 at the barn and I only plan to keep four.
