Notice the great back length on the LF black cockerel exhibited by Jerry DeSmidt and the LF blue cockerel exhibited by Steve Neumann. Also, if you look closely at the black cockerel Jerry showed, per the Standard, Ameraucana males should be slightly elevated at the shoulders. This means if you were to pour water on their back, it should roll very gently and slowly toward the rear. Just some things to think about visually while you are assessing your Ameraucana. I would like to say that I love having Brian as a judge because he shows some love to the patterned Ameraucana color varieties.
He did a great job judging the LF splash for our first qualifying meet for the variety.
