Yes, these birds (black silver) do have pretty fair shafting and lacing at this point.  I am working with improving my Birchen line as well.  Although, I\'m not impressed with the birchen female that I currently have and would like to replace her.  I am hopeful to find a birchen female of good quality to introduce.
