ABC National Meets

The 1995 National Meet was held at Alma, Michigan. Champion bantam was a black pullet with Paul Montieth judging. The champion large fowl was a white pullet, Montieth judging. The 1993 champion large fowl at Mason City, IA, was a blue pullet by Bernard Conkling.

Although the 1998 was hosted by the \"Bay City Poultry Association\" it was held in Alma, MI also.
Going thru some old Bulletins I see a photo of a bantam with the caption: \"1st Wheaten Hen, Champion Ameraucana bantam, ABC National Meet at Santa Rosa, CA, February, 1982.\" Now I see that it was considered a 1981 National, but was actually held on January 30-31, 1982.
The 1994 National was at the Illini show in Belvidere, IL. I don\'t remember any Nationals at Highland.
The 1984 Winter Bulletin says: \"Our National Meet for 1995 will go to the Southern District.\" ???
The 1979 ABA Qualifying Meet was in Pleasanton, CA, near the San Francisco Bay area. The first official ABA National Meet was in 1980.
