Title: e-locus genes
Post by: Holiday Hatch on May 30, 2013, 01:34:35 PM
Does anyone have a suggestion on a book or source for me to learn more about e-locus genes?  It would be nice to know what you're talking about when these initials and symbols show up in posts on ABC Forum.  Thank you - Linda Ferguson

Thank you John.  This will give me plenty to study for awhile.  Linda

I came across a Genetics Mini-Series (http://scratchcradle.wordpress.com/genetics-mini-series/), on the web, by Heather Nicholson.  I read some of it and think it would be helpful in better understanding some of what we discuss here.  She sites most of the same sites that I site as "The Best Chicken Genetics Resources".

Update...
Here is very good site about chicken colors and the e-locus genes.
