The ABC would like to welcome Lauren Dossey to our team! Lauren is a senior at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) majoring in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Agribusiness. Lauren is originally from Fort Worth, Texas and has been showing poultry since she was 14 years old with her father Kris Dossey. Lauren will be serving as our Social Media Specialist!

Be sure to check out the LF self blue Ameraucana portraits in the new APA Standard of Perfection! Diane Jacky requested self blue feathers to ensure the plumage color was correct and did a stellar job!

If you compare the self blue Ameraucana portraits to the self blue OEG portraits you will quickly notice the accuracy of the plumage color.

The APA made an error on the sponsor information but has promised to fix it in the next Standard.

A big thank you to Diane Jacky for her attention to detail and to all of the exhibitors that made approval of LF self blue a reality for the Ameraucana breed!

News and Information / Bantam self blue Ameraucana qualifying meet

A group of breeders held the first qualifying meet for bantam self blue at the Ohio National poultry show this past weekend. It was a success. Per a participant the second qualifying meet will be held next December in Shawnee, OK. The participants were Emily Garland, Heidi Grable, Don Cash, Anna Babst-Perez, Tracy Buck, Samantha Brown Muddy Acres Farm, Jamie Shirley, Zyanne Nguyen, and Laney Hawk.
