Does any one know when the ad is going to be in the Poultry Press. Seems like we could be missing out on getting new members, seeing the other club is the only one advertising.

The Board is currently discussing a PP ad.

Thought that was all done and it was supposed to be placed. What ever happened that it was stopped. Its very important that new members know we are a very much active club

I can comment on the present.
A motion has been passed to advertise in the Poultry Press.
The Board is currently discussing two advertisement options as well as an article that has been written to submit with the advertisement.
Once a quorum has approved an advertisement and the contents of the article, we will be set.

Did someone tell you that it was done? It is currently under discussion and will hopefully be completed soon.

There has been one National meet since my tenure. There was not a quorum present to constitute meeting minutes or to issue and vote on any proposals, but the discussion notes from that meet were forwarded to the Board.

I think Jerry was probably refering to the Ohio National year before last where we all remember where we voted to start the PP ad. Hopefully after this new vote we can decide on the logo, settle things with the PP staff and get things moving.

No I was talking about the Ameraucana Nationals in Knoxville. But if things are in process that's all I need to know.

Nice to see the ad back in the Poultry Press, shows the world we are still alive and open for business. Once again Paul did a great job on the article.

It is great to write an article for us to send to the editor when we have something news worthy to broadcast to the Poultry World. Or maybe If one of the members have something of interest to the Poultry Hobby we might want to submit. PP Deadline is the 10th of each Month

As the point of contact for the Club on this task, you will want to forward the cost of the ad and the submission date for articles to the Board of Directors via email so that a rotation can be set up.
