Title: Some interesting numbers...if you're into that :)
Post by: Susan Mouw on December 08, 2015, 07:34:45 PM
This is the kind of thing I play around with when my brain is too tired to work on any of the various projects sitting on my desk. :)

I took all the recorded meet reports since 2012 (up to the ones received and recorded as of last week), and started figuring out what varieties were shown more, what the percentages were, what non-standard colors were shown...etc.  Here is what I've learned so far:

Total Ameraucanas entered/reported since 2012: 4075. Bantam - 1224 (30.04%), LF - 2851 (69.96%)

Breakdown by variety:

Very Interesting.   Thanks Susan, but I don't see any birchen listed on the AOV list?

Quite a difference between some of the varieties even in the accepted colors.

These numbers were pulled down before the Meet at Blackville last weekend. I don't show any previous birchens?

I was actually surprised by some of these numbers - especially when you run the percentages (which I didn't post here).

I always assumed Blacks and Blues LF ruled the roosts from attending various shows. Now we have the proof in numbers. Good to see Wheaten and Whites hanging in there in Bantam.
