Keep in mind that bantam self blue is not accepted by the APA yet, so for this particular show the judge should have selected an additional bird in an accepted variety for BB. Also, as a general note for members that review our meet reports, in open the judge did not elect to select a RB in bantam for some reason so I just reflected the one that was judged.

I should have gotten the judge to fix that. But neither exhibitor was an ABC member so I didn't think it mattered.

No worries. It’s up to the judges to know which varieties are approved by the Associations. I try to be of help if I catch it. A judge selected one of my LF splash pullets for RB at our SE district meet, so I caught up with him and asked him if he could swing by to select an accepted variety.

I just looked at the report again and I was referring to the junior show. My bad. Tell her grandpa if he lets the judge know when it happens, Julie may be able to earn her way to junior grand master exhibitor faster. ;)

Oops, he should have told me to fix that then. LOL
