My coop card does have BV and BB in black. The Best AOSB in red. I have no idea how many Ameraucana's were at the show. I didn't see any bantams. So, if there were 25 LF entered. My best would get 25 points. My other pullet had RV and RB written on her card. She would get 24 points? And are points accumulated per calendar year or? So much to learn!

I am a little confused as to how the point system works. I had a pullet win Best AOSB at our show in October. Does that mean Ch Ameraucana? That is not written on the coop card.

Sarah- I am sorry this happened to you. I hope others can learn from your experience. I have been kicking around the idea of using DE in my coops and on my birds. My Brother in Law works at a DE mine in Lompoc, CA. Has for the last 25 years. He explained to me exactly what you are saying happened to you. My thought was, if this could happen to me coming in contact every now and then, what is happening to my birds that live with this on their bodies and breathe it day after day. I decided it wasn't worth it to me. I hope you continue to improve each day! -Kelly

You know I will take pics! I have been sitting in their pen, as hot as it is out here, for about an hour each day. They get their frozen treats and I get to evaluate them. They are changing a lot right now, and I have my favorites. I may have to have a bit of help towards the end of August, to evaluate better, paperwork due in by Sept 15. Thank you!

Perhaps I did something wrong or my request went into her 'junk' folder. I sent Jean Ribbeck a request a while back for the AZ State Fair to be an ABC Meet. I haven't heard anything back. Susan, can you forward my contact info to her? Russell Page Coordinator 602-708-7165 is the contact for this, the poultry show would be arrival 10/18, judging the 19th and 20th. Dewayne, I don't know you but through your posts. I will miss them, you have taught me a lot! I thank you for that. Hopefully, in the future, you can come back. (Fingers crossed) I wish you well.
