One of my hens has these black spots on her comb and I'm wondering if it is something I should be concerned about. Has anyone else seen this before?

Yes. I noticed a few of my pullets with it last spring/summer. I wormed them with "Worminator" (Link below) and then followed up 18 days later with another dose and it cleared right up. I have no idea what it is, but it doesn't seem to be anything to be too concerned about. I never saw any ill-like symptoms or issues to go with it, and to be honest, I'm not 100% sure worming them is what actually made it go away, but that is what I did and it cleared right up so that is where I would begin if I were you. The Worminator says it kills all worms and it is very inexpensive and easy to use. Let me know if it works the same for you.
