Where do meet reports get sent to now that Temple's not tracking them? Though I asked about them last year before we hosted our first meet, things were very unclear to me regarding junior shows,. I now have them ready and would like to turn them in.

I agree, Don. I think minutes are a very important part of not only transparency and to keep members up to date on club details but also so that present and future leadership have insight as to why and when decisions were made. I love your idea of district meeting, too. Those of us within districts, at least those of us out west, rarely see or do not know each other at all. Putting members in contact with each other could be a great way to build camaraderie and to encourage them to travel to see each other at shows, building stronger meets.

Where can members find minutes from Club meetings? I tried searching the forum but only saw meeting minutes from 11/2015 that were then posted for all members to view 2 months later. Susan mentioned training board members how to write minutes in 7/2017 but I can't find anything recent.

With this new automated system, who is going to be checking in with it to make sure meets are being approved? Members are well aware that Susan already has too much on her plate, especially with her medical conditions. To me, it sounds like the one check and balance in place, Temple, has been removed and meets might just sit there. Temple was good about following up with DD's if meets weren't approved but even then, with her reminders, at least one meet slipped through the cracks.

Unfortunately, the Utah Fancy Poultry Association is mostly bantams but we do have more than 26 LF cages. I will get that figured out. Since I've been involved, the LF showing has increased significantly. Thanks, Jean!

I have to say, Athena and I had so much fun at the Nationals held in Idaho a couple years ago. Attending that and meeting breeders face to face was what really got us into showing.The ABC was the first club we joined and we joined while at Nationals. I do wish there were more big meets out west that we could go to but I understand the points made above. I'm always up for hosting a district meet (or Nationals when it comes around again) in Utah.
