Just letting every one know that I placed a special meet at Richland Center the first weekend in June. The name of the show is Badgerland.

Anne,
I use a mini mag light that was purchased at the local hardware storeit was about $9.00. I also candle all my eggs at 4 days durning the night hours so every thing is dark. The eggs that are not looking fertile get an x on them and checked again at 7 days. The eggs that are fertile have a darker shadow in them about 2/3 of the way down, the ones that are unfertile have the yolk on the top.

hey Jean we wait about 1 week. we get about 50% fertile eggs the first week but then after that they become more fertile.

I will have some Large Fowl Ameraucanas for sale at the Crossroads show in Indy I will have blue, black and one white. I will also have 1 pair of blue and 1 pair of black bantams. Let me know if anyone is intrested.
