The Ameraucana Breeders Club is pleased to announce the addition of two new levels in the Junior Master Exhibitor program.
The Master Exhibitor program, for Open entries, has long held three different levels:
Master Exhibitor, 800 points
Grand Master Exhibitor, 5000 points
Supreme Grand Master Exhibitor, 10000 points.
But, until now, the Junior Master Exhibitor program has only offered one level, one goal:
Junior Master Exhibitor, 100 points.
Well, get ready, Juniors! The game is on! You can now earn:
Junior Grand Master Exhibitor, 625 points
Junior Supreme Grand Master Exhibitor, 1250 points
While the Board was all in agreement about adding the levels, we thought long and hard about where to set the new levels and decided, near unanimously, that the levels needed to match, proportionately, the levels already present for the Open Competition. So, that's what we did. 5000 (Grand Master Exhibitor) points is 6.25 times the points of the next lowest level, Master Exhibitor, at 800 points. 10000 (Supreme Master Exhibitor) is twice the points of the next lowest level of Grand Master Exhibitor; so the point structure for the new Junior Grand Master and Supreme Master Exhibitor awards were set at the same ratios:
Junior Grand Master Exhibitor is 6.25 times the points of Junior Master Exhibitor and Junior Supreme Master Exhibitor is twice the points of Junior Grand Master Exhibitor.
