Title: Chicks hatched in September (last week of)
Post by: philipu on November 03, 2009, 10:04:43 AM
Hi, the two large fowl buff ameraucana peeps that I hatched out of eggs from Ronda, the male has started crowing.....
isn\'t this a little young...
Isn\'t this unusual...could it be the feed, I\'m using Turkey grower for the first weeks?

We have a Buff cockerel who started crowing at about 10-11 weeks.  Real funny sounding crow too, almost like a laugh. He was hatched at the beginning of August.
