I\'m post some photos starting with this group pic taken just after our meetins on Saturday:

Others may post show results and pics of birds. Here are some pics of the winning members. NE District Director, Harold Knapp and Secretary/Treasurer, Michael Muenks were in charge of our ABC meet.

Great pictures! I hope to be able to attend a National Show one of these days.
I hope someone will post pictures of some of the beautiful birds that were there.

Mary and I arrived home about 2:30 pm today (Monday). We did have a wonderful time, and I do have some pictures when I find some time to download the camera to the computer. Have a meeting at Church tonight, and have to get the brakes repaired on the Buick tomorrow morning, so it will take a little time. It was great to see everyone and visit with old friends and new ones as well. More comments later.

I have the large fowl results photos. Some are not so great, I had a new camera; so, I apologize in advance.
My photos are too big to post, is someone out there more computer literate than me that may be able to reduce them so we can post?
-
If you use Photobucket you can upload your photos and have them saved at several size options.
-
Jean,
Email them to me.

It may be worth saying that the photo of the bantam blue wheaten pullet by Jerry DeSmidt was champion Ameraucana over all - large and bantam. There were 133 bantams entered and 118 large fowl, so a real nice win for Jerry. I\'m sorry the photo does not do the bird justice. Also, the bantam brown red hen shown by yours truly was reserve champion Ameraucana bantam, still an ABA starred win. She does not have the purple cast in real life - I\'m not a great photographer. The birds I brought for neighbor Bob Walchak did OK too. Bob had BV and RV on white bantams. Over the past five national meets, Bob has now won nine of the top ten awards on white bantams. And he has had some excellent competition from Al Nichols, Jerry DeSmidt, and others. So congratulations Bob - sorry you could not be there, but the records show you are doing great with those white bantams.

Well deserved wins everyone! Exceptional birds! I wish I could have attended.

There are five more photos to come..... :)

By the way, here\'s a link to a download for a terrific and very fast picture resizer for anyone interested. You can resize a bunch at one time. There are others I\'m sure, but this is the one I\'ve used for a couple of years now and I really like it, and it was free!

I\'ll be back tomorrow to see the rest of the pictures. Thank you Jean and John and anyone else who took photos. They are very much appreciated.

Thanks for the post, pictures, and information! What a great time you must\'ve all had. Great looking birds and everyone looks like they were just having a grand time.
I am so envious.
Now I must add one more thing to my list of confessions - ah but maybe next year!
God Bless,
