Oh wow, that one really is odd.  I got two this week that were pointed at both ends, one was blue, but the other was from a brown egg layer.  Both were pretty big but single yoke.  Did you check to see if yours was single or double?

Yes I did check.  It was a single yolk with way more white than normal.  The eggs she has laid since are normal size, good shape and color but still the funny little ripple on the tip end.  I put some in the inc to make sure they are fertile.
