Just a friendly reminder not to wait if you plan to place an order with me for chicks this year.  Many placed their orders months ago and I\'m scheduling most orders for specific varieties of Ameraucanas into May now.

I updated my order form a couple weeks ago to say I\'m sold-out of LF lavender & black.  If you order LF \"hatchery choice\" and if I have extras they could be included though.  I\'m also not accepting any more orders for bantam buff chicks.  I\'m down to just a few pullets/hens of them and hope I can fill the orders that are already scheduled.  Anyone have some females for sale?
I plan to start shipping chicks the first week in March and go thru the end of May.  The first couple hatches will be for myself and I just sat my first hatch this evening with 354 eggs.

354 eggs?!?  Holy cow, that\'s alot of chicks!!  LOL  I am going to show this to my husband and tell him he can\'t give me a hard time anymore!!

It is a lot of eggs, but with this very early first hatch I\'ll be happy if 1/2 of them end up being chicks.
