Title: Blue wheaten rooster

Good evening,
I have ordered some (LF) Blue Wheaten eggs from Jean.
This is my Blue wheaten rooster.
Question, does he look OK, I will not be showing any time soon, but would like to raise good stock.

It looks like your rooster is a splash wheaten.  If it is blue wheatens you want, mate him with wheaten females.

I know in the picture it looks like he has a lot of white but the picture is just washed out, he is blue where it looks white.
I will check him out a little better though

It might just be splash,
He don\'t look quite as blue as the picture in the photo section.
If i breed him to blue wheaten hens, what will I get?

I would be willing to wager he is splash wheaten.  There is a lot of contrast between the base color and that dark feather in the tail.  If you breed him to blue wheaten females you should get about half blue wheaten and half splash wheaten.

Mr. Mike, I just talked with the breeder that I got my rooster from and he is a Wheaten Splash. He jot his breeding stock from Mr. Wayne Merdith in WI.
