Title: Eggs
Post by: Jess on January 20, 2011, 06:58:32 PM
Evening,
I got my Wheaten eggs from Jean this morning. She had really packed them good, none were broken.
I had already turned on my incubator and had it ready, and after a 8 hour wait, I put them in.
I also set some EE while I had the incubator going.
I have remodeled an old work bench and made a brooder out of it. It is 8 feet long and I divided it into 4 sections. I fixed it where I could remove the dividers and make the sections bigger. I will take some pictures of it.
Thanks Jean for being so nice, she put in a couple of extras for me.
Thanks
Jess

Morning folks,
I am fixing to build another brooder-pen.
It will be 8\' long with 2 sections 3\' long and one 2\' section.
If it is OK with the powers that be, I can post pictures of the  construction of it, if this might help somebody.
Thanks
Jess

I\'d love to see pics. I built one last year, but it\'s less than ideal. I want to make some changes and/or build a new one, so it\'s great to look at what other people are using to get ideas.

Evening,
Beth, I didn\'t get any responce, so I just went ahead and built it.
I will take some pictures of the finished product.
I fixed it where I could use it as a breeding pen.
2 of the sections are 3 feet long and 2 feet wide and the whole thing is 2 feet high. I think that is enough room for a rooster and 2 hens.
Thanks
Jess
