Congrats to Jan Burke on winning Reserve Champion LF with a Black Ameraucana cockerel, at the Newcastle, OK show . It's exciting to see Ameraucanas winning high honors at shows all across the country. Great job, Jan! How about a picture of your champ?

That is good news!   Where did Jan get her start in Ameraucanas?  And who was the brave judge?

Way to go, Jan! I see a great growing interest in Ameraucanas in many areas and am glad to see they are becoming more popular. A big thank you to the breeders who are working hard at improving the breed and to those judges who are giving them more than a second look now.

Hello and Thankyou everyone.  The judge was Steve Jones
I got my start from Max Sharon and Clif.  Then the magic happened.  This group is awesome! Everyone is so supportive.   I will get a current pic of this guy.  You will see him Nov. 1st.

Congrats Jan! I have to pass some credit to Paul Smith. I think most of our birds originated from him.  ;)

Yes all of the birds I received were from his lines.  Paul is so helpful and is a blessing to have him share his birds to make it possible for others.  He has done all the hard work for us all.  Your awesome Paul.

Looking forward to seeing you guys!  Make sure you bring your cameras because fall peak is just in time for the show and it is shaping up to be a beautiful one!
