Top shot are my Ameraucanas/Ameraucana-RIR crossses at three weeks old. Bottom shot was taken today at one month.

The babies are outside in my temporary inner pen as of this morning. Boy were they peeved when I hustled them into that Rubbermaid bin one by oen and hustled the whole load down two flights of stairs and outside. But, once they got in there with two waterers and two feeders and two roost bars, they were happy. The pen is about 6 x 4 and is inside my protected enclosure. The adults see them, but don\'t have access to them.

The box was getting a little constricted after five weeks, and I could just tell they wanted out of there.  Later today, or tomorrow, I\'ll start cleaning out the box and that room....
