For those who may not be able to make the National ABC meet in Caldwell ID because of the distance, note the above ABC sanctioned show for the Nebraska State Poultry Association in Lincoln NE. Catalogs are available online at www.nestatepoultryshow.com. Just go to the home page and scroll to the bottom and click on catalog. You could also contact Vicki (show secretary) after 4 PM CST for questions. Entries are due to be post marked by OCT 28, 2016. I know for me it is about 18 hrs each way to drive for the National show. Just an option for those for an ABC sanctioned show that is too far to travel on that weekend. If you are too far away to make the ABC National show, don't forget to check out the silent auction items that you can bid on by email at the National show. Susan continues to add items daily.

Here are the results from the Nebraska State Poultry Show Nov 5-6 in Lincoln Nebraska. There were no Ameraucana Bantams shown. There were 25 LF entries from 7 exhibitors.

Congratulations to all the winners at the Nebraska State Poultry Association! Looks like you had a decent turn out and some really nice birds.
Quick question - who was the judge for the Ameraucanas?

Susan, the judge for the LF Ameraucanas was Diana Dahir from Iowa. Sorry my pictures were not up to Paul's standards. He is tremendous at taking pictures. I just used my cell phone, next time I'll have to take my actual camera. Helping at the show and finding time for pictures do not go hand in hand. but I did get a few to show a sampling. Ameraucana LF ruled the Best AOSB for the last three years of our show. Who knows what it would have been if our 2015 show was not cancelled due to the AI ban on shows. GO AMERAUCANAS!
