Title: Broken tail feathers

A few of my nicer cockerels have broken tail feathers and I\'m wondering if there\'s any chance they\'ll grow in before the National? Do I remember reading something somewhere about plucking them so the replacement feathers will come in sooner?

It takes about 8 weeks for them to grow back. Depending on diet, etc...
