I thought some of you who are developing different colored birds might want to check out these chickens. They have a muff and a beard and slate legs. They lay a white egg and have a weird tuft on their head and a \"v\" shaped comb.

your link didn\'t work for me, but your description slunds like crescravores, or howerer it is spelled, they are a weird looking bird, almmost scarry..I saw some at a show..but they did act calm and tried real hard to \"show of\"

They are called Brabanters or Branbanters, they are Dutch.
I asked the lady to send me a close up of the head.

They look like very poor silver and gold laced polish or a silver or gold laced polish crossed with a silver spangled hamburg. Not attractive. A crevacour is a solid black bird has a crest, muffs, slate legs and if I remember correctly has an extra toe, similar in size and shape as the mottled houdans.

I have cream brabanters. I think the females are a good looking bird. I also have gold brabanters. They are spangled, have a small crest and a duplex comb.
