Hi! I have decided to get serious about breeding my birds. And I dont really know what I\'m doing! They have all been running together as one big flock, but I have pulled out my nice splash rooster and several of my better hens and penned them up separately. My first question is how long do I need to keep eating their eggs before I know that the eggs being laid were the ones fertilized by the good rooster (and not just any old roo). I\'m sure I will have others as I go along.  :D
