Ok, so my hovabator and egg turner came in the mail yesterday. I tried to put it together like the picture. Where do I put the thermometer? How much water do I put in it? Any tips? This will be my first time... my expectations are pretty low. :p

The thermometer just lays on top of the eggs.
For the first 18-19 days you want to put water in the trough marked C in the diagram. You will probably have to add water every 4-5 days. I only put 41 eggs in mine and used a funnel to add water through the unused hole in the turner. On the 18th day when you remove the turner and put the eggs on the wire, you will add water to the trough marked T so you will have water in both troughs.

I would put the thermometer on the top of the eggs. In Central Missouri I do not use any extra moisture until the last 3 days . . . I then put the moisture in the \"C\" trough.
