Sorry, I can\'t help with the large fowl, as only have bantams in those varieties.   Anyone else?

Bantam Hill is done taking new orders for this year. I may have a few started birds in the fall, but I am not accepting pre-orders.

Thank you, but really just want the large/standard size in blue/black/splash.  What is considered the normal shipping season?

On average I would say March, April & May, but those in the warmer climates may start earlier and some go a bit longer.
I try to hatch so that the weather is warm enough and dry enough for the started chicks to survive after 4 to 6 weeks in a brooder.  
If I hatch too early I have to keep the chicks broodered longer.  That not only costs more money, but I only have so much brooder space to deal with.   If I hatch too late the birds won\'t be old enough to use as breeders the following season.
