Looking for blue and splash chicks or started group of 5
Located in CT, but willing to have them shipped if neccessary.

Large or bantam?
-
Large/standard size. Sorry *blush*

Sorry, I can\'t help with the large fowl, as only have bantams in those varieties. Anyone else?
-
Bantam Hill is done taking new orders for this year. I may have a few started birds in the fall, but I am not accepting pre-orders.

Thank you, but really just want the large/standard size in blue/black/splash. What is considered the normal shipping season?

the normal shipping season?
On average I would say March, April & May, but those in the warmer climates may start earlier and some go a bit longer.
I try to hatch so that the weather is warm enough and dry enough for the started chicks to survive after 4 to 6 weeks in a brooder.
If I hatch too early I have to keep the chicks broodered longer. That not only costs more money, but I only have so much brooder space to deal with. If I hatch too late the birds won\'t be old enough to use as breeders the following season.
