Title: Anyone in WI

I am looking at an eggbid auction for some sebastopol geese in WI, however, the seller does not want to ship.

I was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to pick up these birds for me and ship them to WA??  Of course I would pay for gas and postage.

If I win the auction that is and someone volunteers.  I have sent the seller an e-mail asking where exactly they are located and am waiting for a response.

Jean,
I have no experience in handling or shipping geese, and could not be responsible for keeping them if there is a problem in shipping them.    Also - very limited time due to full time job plus  farming (haying, etc.) this time of year, and running a wholesale venison business.   Sorry!

I bet that with just a little bit of searching, you can find a breeder of Sebestapol geese in Washington.  For the cost of what it would take to ship one from WI to Wa, you could probably get 2 more.
