I have a young pair of LF black Ameraucanas and they feel a little lite for the size they are. They were hatched in the spring. I have been giving them a laying crumble mixed with craked corn, wheat, and whole oats. Any ideas on how to help them gain a little wieght?

Try worming them. Also check for external parasites.

I\'ve wormed them and put lice killer on them but they still have not been gaining any.

I would suggest possibly putting them back on a higher protein feed. I would also suggested that they may have a touch of coccidious and putting them back on a medicated starter may do the trick. Do their droppings look runny . . . if so, it may be coccidious or you could try probotics to help with the balance of good bacteria. I would also add some cat or dog food to the mix.

Their dropings aren\'t runny and they seem to be fine just lite.
I\'ll try giving them cat food. By thr way Thanks for all your help.
