Title: New England Ameraucanas
Post by: Guest on October 11, 2007, 08:37:54 PM
I was wondering if anyone else has Ameraucanas in any of the New England states?

I\'m in central NY, not New England.

What varieties do you have?  I have black, blue wheaten (just pullets) and white.

Have you checked the Breeders Directory on this website?
I have not looked for awhile, but we used to have some members in the New England area - not many, but a few.

Mike,

Thanks for the suggestion,
I had checked the directory and the closest to New England are in NY and PA.  I thought there might be some people on the forum who are not club members.

Doug,

According to my membership list the club has members in PA, NY and a junior member in CT. I do not have any memberships in MA, VT, NH, RI, or Maine.

As you stated there probably are Ameraucana in the area. You may want to try contacting some of the local poultry clubs for contacts.
