Good morning. I want to post a pic of our cockerel (sp) his is now 7 months old and was sold to us as a Brown/Red. Our pullets (same age) were sold to us a silvers, but I think we were ripped off. We are very attached to them, so we won\'t get rid of them, but we wanted show quality birds for our kids.

They appear to be easter eggers. Check out the home page you can click upper left and you will see a link to photos. There are pictures of male and female of each variety.
Always try to buy from a member of the Ameraucana Breeders Club.

Neither the male nor the female are brown reds. I\'m sorry you did not get what you were expecting. Brown red chicks are dull black, sometimes with a white bib, and I doubt these were from their appearance now.

...and if you did buy from a club member I apologize on behalf of the ABC. We know that all chicks don\'t grow up to be show quality, but they should come much closer to representing the Standard.
